The Medical Office Manager program provides you with the skills and background to handle all the administrative functions of a medical office, including creating and updating electronic health records (EHR). You ll also gain experience with medical billing responsibilities. Our comprehensive training was developed in collaboration with health care administration professionals and medical billers all with years of professional experience. Choose the training that employers trust: Prepare to earn the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBSC), Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) and Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) certifications. Gain hands-on experience with government-certified electronic health records software, billing forms and bundled payments to minimize on-the-job training. Medical office managers fill positions in both the medical administrative assistant and medical billing fields. The U.S. Department of Labor provides employment predictions for these two fields separately: over 64,000 new jobs are expected for medical administrative assistants by 2024 and over 29,000 new jobs are expected in the field that includes medical billers during the same time period.
